It looks as if tethering will continue to be unsupported. My belief is that this is entirely AT&T’s doing. Unfortunately, I don’t believe this is likely to change in the near future. Now, on to some good news. It seems that upgrades should go smoothly and that the new 2 year contract will simply replace your old contract rather than add to it. I don’t know if this is specific to current iPhone owners or if it is true for all AT&T customers…
