Another 2 Mighty Muggs found…
May 24, 2008I picked up Spider-Man and Wolverine in the past couple of days, but I cannot find Iron Man anywhere. If you’ve the Iron Man Mighty Muggs in the triangle region NC, PLEASE let me know! I’m considering dropping some cash to get him from an Amazon.com seller at a pretty decent markup, but I’d rather not

New Marvel Mighty Muggs coming!

Hulk Smash! Hands
May 19, 2008I picked up Hulk Smash! Hands for myself (and Ben when he gets older) while I waited at Target today for some medicine for Ben (he has an ear infection). If this post makes you interested, don’t buy from Amazon…that hurts as I love Amazon, but they’re overpriced given that Target/Toys R Us is selling these for $19.99. This week, Target has them for a low price of $16.99.
I do love these things as they fit little hands all the way up to big mitts like mine! They’re soft and plushy with a strap to grab on to inside so that they stay on. They also look to be much higher quality than the foam version that came out back with the Ang Lee Hulk in 2003. Oh, and the sound is pretty darn good for a speaker so small, but thankfully there is a well hidden off-switch 
I’m sure Ben is still a bit young for them and also a bit unsure about them I think to, so for now, these are a toy for daddy that maybe Ben can grow into. If he decides he wants to put them on, I will definitely throw up a video…

On board with the Mighty Muggs
May 11, 2008I picked up a new toy today. A Mighty Muggs Marvel Venom figure at Target. What is a Mighty Muggs? Well, I’m glad you asked
I first saw these in Suncoast with a Star Wars theme. However, I never could bring myself to buy one, but then I saw the comic book themed versions at Target. I had always thought they had a cool design, but the comic book theme pushed me over the top (I have to say I am more of a comic book geek than a Star Wars geek, but I love both). They’re so … cute? I guess that’s the right word. Well, this Venom version got be to buy one.
After I walked towards the front of the store carrying it, the logo is what most caught my attention.
Seriously…who can turn down 100% recycled awesome?

Obsession Item: Star Wars Muppets figures

Oh…I really want two sets of these. One to keep for Ben and one to open and put on display. No idea how much they’ll be or if they’ll be sold online (please…please…please) as they’re supposedly exclusive for Disney theme parks. If they can’t be bought online is there anyone going to Disney this summer who wouldn’t mind shuttling back a couple of sets?

October 27, 2006I found a new toy that I think would be great to have at the desk… Isn’t it cute? He plays the music from the iPod using a concealed cable and his paws flash to the music. Also available in brown. Check it out for a soft, fuzzy speaker.
