Xbox 360 about to go in for repair

My Xbox 360 started freezing up a couple of nights ago (not the dreaded red rings of death), but still bad. Luckily, their support was quite good and my warranty is still in place, so as soon as I get the box, off to Microsoft it goes for repair…

If this had just happened a month or so ago when I was barely playing it I would be happier. Halo 3 got me back into active gaming at the beginning of October, but at least I still have the Wii

I thought this was very cool as I too wondered how the LED could shine through the seemingly solid aluminum. The one thing I know, is that this is the slickest keyboard I have ever owned!

Weight Loss Progress 2007.10.23

Well, it has been a while since I posted last and even longer since I posted weight loss details. Luckily, that isn’t because I have been gaining

Here are the details:

10/09/2007 – Lost 0.6 pounds bringing me down to 326.6 pounds
10/15/2007 – Lost 1.2 pounds bringing me down to 325.4 pounds
10/23/2007 – Lost 1.6 pounds bringing me down to 323.8 pounds and pushing me past 10% loss off of my initial weight. I am now 36.8 pounds down…yeah! But, it still isn’t fast enough for me and it looks like I will not hit my goal of 299 by year end, it will likely hit sometime in January at this rate. Not the end of the world, but …

New Keyboard Hotness

On Friday night after work, I picked up some new hotness from the Apple Store. This time it was a new Apple Wireless Keyboard. So far, I love this keyboard. It is just like typing on a laptop keyboard (which is also a positive to me) and the design is tiny. Heather thought it was a “toy” . Words really can’t express the sleekness and feel of the design. In addition to the old media buttons, there is now also some iTunes controllers (play/pause, forward, backward). Honestly, the only thing they could add that would make me love it more I think would be a trackpad, but this is darn close to perfect…

Oh, BTW, after picking this up I was milling around the mall and a nice lady in Williams Sonoma asked me what I got from the “iPod Store” Oh well, they don’t really know Apple, but Williams Sonoma is basically like shopping Apple. I like the stores for extremely similar reasons and it is also probably because I know my tastes. I do tend to like the higher end of everything unfortunately.
