Well, they’ve gone and done it

My friends Larry & James from HickoryWind.org have started an americana podcast. I’m about half way through and really enjoying it. It is definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan of the music or of Larry & James :)

Podcast, Volume #1: Patty Hurst Shifter & The Avett Brothers

Kumanoko, the hungry hamster

I just noticed a very cute hamster pic that is part of a huge collection while reading the RSS feed from Cute Overload.

This pictures is part of a large set on Flickr taken by Seattle Roll.

UPDATE:
Looks like the photo no longer allows blogging :(

Possible 10.5 (Leopard) Feature Set

LoopRumors has a set of articles up on the next Mac OS X release:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

Who knows if this is true, but it is interesting none the less…

We’re having a boy!

Sorry I’ve been a bit lax in publishing lately, but it has been extraordinarily busy at work. Heather and I went to the doctor today and found out the sex of the baby. We’ve got a healthy baby boy!

Here is a pic of little baby Vinson:

and here is a link to the album with the rest of the ultrasound pics:

Don’t worry, I’ll have some non-baby posts up soon…

UPDATE:

Go here for pictures as I have decommissioned the local gallery…

Our Big Announcement

I have been waiting until we both felt it was time to make this announcement. This year, Heather and I are going to have our first child. This is extremely exciting for us. We told our families at Christmas, told our gathered friends at our New Year’s Eve party, and now I would like to share it with everyone. We don’t know the sex yet, but should be finding out in the coming weeks if all goes well.

I am finding out exactly how much I don’t know about baby paraphernalia and the entire process, but I’m trying to come up to speed quickly. Now, I have to figure how to have a wired nursery :)
